Eye for Creation is a mobile, community-centered art education business founded and led by certified Michigan art educator Casey Irvine. With over 17 years of experience in K–12 education, special education, and community arts programming, Eye for Creation provides high-quality, inclusive art experiences for learners of all ages.

Eye for Creation specializes in on-site instruction, bringing all materials, setup, instruction, and cleanup directly to schools, community centers, local venues, and private events. Programs include youth art classes, teen clubs, open studio sessions, paint parties, family art nights, birthday parties, senior art programs, and individualized instruction. Each experience is intentionally designed to be engaging, accessible, and developmentally appropriate.

The foundation of Eye for Creation is a student-centered philosophy that prioritizes creativity, confidence, and self-expression over perfection. Classes are kept small to allow for individualized attention, differentiation, and meaningful relationships

Eye for Creation is deeply rooted in the local community and regularly collaborates with schools, recreation departments, arts organizations, and small businesses. Student art shows, family engagement, and community partnerships are integral components of the program, creating opportunities for young artists to be celebrated and seen.

Through inclusive instruction, professional expertise, and a strong commitment to community access, Eye for Creation supports artists ages 5 to 95 in discovering their voice, building confidence, and connecting through creativity.

Meet Casey Irvine – Art Educator & Founder of Eye for Creation
With over 16 years of experience in art education, I’m passionate about inspiring creativity in young artists. Through Eye for Creation, I offer engaging art classes for kids—ranging from private sessions to community-based workshops designed to spark imagination and confidence.

I TRAVEL! I also host lively paint parties for all ages in homes, bars, restaurants, and community spaces across Downriver, MI, and beyond. Whether it’s a family-friendly event or a night out with friends, I bring the art, materials, and fun—making creativity accessible to everyone.

I can create custom paintings tailored just for your group on Wood, Tote Bags, Porch Boards, Canvas, Pallets, and Glassware. Whether it’s a birthday, bachelorette party, professional work event, kids party, or just a fun night with friends, I’ll help you make it unforgettable!
